Western Colorado Independent Electrical Contractors

Welcome to the Western Colorado Independent Electrical Contractors (WCIEC) webpage. Please take time to review our website and learn about what we can offer you. We are a professional group of merit shop Electrical Contractors on the western slope of Colorado who organized as a chapter and incorporated in the fall of 2004. We are proud to be part of the National Organization of Independent Electrical Contractors.

Due to the Grand Ave. Bridge Project (GAB) in Glenwood Springs, we have altered the school year to allow for the bridge construction not to interfere with our apprenticeship program.

Registration starts September 13th and ends on November 15, 2017.
Classes start November 28, 2017 and end the week of May 25th.
This year will be a fast paced accelerated curriculum.
Several Mondays will be required as a Home Study Class or a Satelite Class.

Founded in 1957, the Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC) is a national trade association for merit shop electrical and systems contractors. IEC believes in developing and fostering a stronger economy through the level of quality and services its members provide to the industry. Drawing from the dedication and desire of contractors in the independent sector, our country is able to benefit from a flexible array of services and competitive pricing which helps maintain an affordable level of costs on utilities and communication.
