IEC’s four-year program curriculum is recognized by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Apprenticeship & Training and is ran by a team of dedicated professional staff to assist you in moving apprentices through the program. The nationally approved curriculum is in use nationwide by nearly 10,000 annual apprentices. All training will be held in the Glenwood Springs classroom located at 1500 Devereux Rd., Unit B Glenwood Springs, CO 81601.

– In-person: Classes start week of August 4th – 7th, 2025. The classes are in session for two semesters/18 weeks each semester.

– Online: Online session starts week of August 18, 2025, and are in session for two semesters/15 weeks each. If you are an on-line student, you are a student of WCIEC. Once registered as an online student with Western Colorado IEC an email will be sent via email with login information and pass key. It is your responsibility to  communicate with your online instructor regarding the due dates for the LABS and HANDS-ON activities. Also, make sure to discuss these with your contractor.
